VKV type vacuum on-load tap changer (hereafter called tap changer) is a kind of typical combination type tap changer, which is gathering function of selector switch and tap selector and is installed on transformer tank cover by means of flange on the top of tap changer. Besides, tap changer can also install switching selector, when not installed, maximum tap position number is 12, if installed, that is 23.
VKV type vacuum on-load tap changer is suitable for power transformer or industrial transformer, whose equipment highest voltage is 40.5~126kV, maximum rated through current is 600A, frequency is 50Hz~60Hz, three-phase connection method is D connection or Y connection neutral point. It can switch over tap position to change output voltage of transformer under energized condition, in order to get normal output voltage , as well as increase or reduce output voltage according to on-load requirement to regulate line voltage.
