KMD On-load tap changer
KMD type on-load tap changer is on basis of optimization design of KM type, which adopts outside cylinder shaft and transmission in middle position, and is consisting of selector switch and tap selector. Tap changer, whose structure is bell type, and is used for bell type transformer.
The tap changer that is driven by KDJ-I electrical motor mechanism can realize the conversion of transformer tap position to achieve the purpose of voltage regulation. With KYC-3D intelligent position displayer, it can indicate tap position while with KYJK-1/2 intelligent controller, it can display tap position, and realize remote control, automatic voltage regulation and parallel control of several transformer.
The max. tap position number for KMD tap changer without change-over selector (liner regulation) is 18. And with change-over selector (forward/reverse or coarse-fine regulation), the tap position number can reach 35, special design can reach 107.
